Getting Around Orange
By Car: Route 29 is the main north-south corridor, connecting Orange to Culpeper, Warrenton, and Fairfax to the north, and Charlottesville to the south. Route 15 runs parallel to Route 29 and offers a more scenic alternative. Route 3 connects east to Spotsylvania and Fredericksburg. I-64 is about 20 minutes south of the Town of Orange, providing access to Richmond and Hampton Roads.
By Train: The closest Amtrak stations are in Culpeper (about 20 minutes) and Charlottesville (about 35 minutes). Both offer Northeast Regional service to Washington, DC, and points north and south. There is no VRE service in Orange County.
